Building upon the principles of Complete Communities strategies, this project strived to strengthen and connect neighbourhoods through all seasons with safe and accessible linear park systems, and active transportation networks that connect communities to each other and to the downtown.

Sustainability is a core principle of the project, as the vision was based on the desire to manage our green corridors along our streets and riverbanks, expand ecological networks and linkages, and ensure public access to our riverbanks and forests.
